Should be a bitrate displayed next to the tune. If it doesn't match with the real bitrate of the file, a rebuild id3 with getid3 might be necessary. (Update).

I see no bitrate anywhere on the player, neither for mp3s with id3 nor mp3s without id3 tag. Which is the "official" version I should use? I have downloaded JW FLV Media Player 3.16.
Here is a screen cap on IE and Firefox, 1st song without id3tag, 2nd do have:

The funny thing is that firefox plays it OK, no bitrate shown anyway.

I just wanted to drop in and say that I am sorry I disappeared for awhile. Things got REALLY busy for me lately! I haven't even had time to update to the newest build until today. But I have been using the old 497 build at work with enqueue enabled - it's wonderful! I really love it. Thank you SO MUCH for implementing this feature! I'm really looking forward to trying the newest builds. ^___^ I probably won't be able to jump on the boards very much for awhile longer, but I am using kPlaylist and really enjoying it. Thanks again!

works fine with m3u and wma.. Any reason why and hw to fix it?

The jw or the jw enqueue type? Try the first (just jw.)

Everything running peachy; enqueueing is the best thing since cheese.

one question: When the JW player is first popped the main kplaylist window changes from wherever it was to the default directory listing view. Any idea why and how to prevent?

I really love the player and I use JW player. I have two problems : the first is that in the playlist the author name isn't display, only the first line is written with the name of the song ? do you have an idea of what to do ?? The second thing is the enqueue which is doesnt work for me. ? it's ok with jw but not with jw (enqueue).

1. Problem (artist in playlist)
Does this happend with every song? It may be the ID3 tagging on your file. If you have a musicplayer wich support id3 editting, should you check if it has artist. If you dont have id3 support in your music player, could you search for an editor: id3 editor @ google
