Features! cooo yes please

V1.2 build 2.36 on freebsd 4.6 apache 2 php 4.2.2

First up though, this is easily the simplest and best web based mp3 playlist I have used, installed out of the box up and running in a couple of minutes. Thanks for all the hard work (and as a very novice coder, I know there was a lot of it).

Never ask users what they would like to see in a system :wink:

Some ideas for future :-

1) Some documentation :- i.e. : what is ext3mu and why would i (not) want to use it?

2) Support for id3 tag editing

3) Support for file manipulation.... eg change the name / location of a file, delete it.

4) IP logging ..who listened to what from where and when

5) Support for upload.....

Thanks again for a great bit of software

4) u can see current (last) IP from the user options. since there is no anonymos login, why would u want log IPs? but loggin WHO-WHAT-WHEN-HOW LONG would be nice.

3) and 5) should be integrated together...upload files? for everyone or each user could upload a mp3 for himself and make it shared for others if he wish? if for everyone then using FTP would be much more comfortible.

In the script there is a line:
// should we allow user signup? 1=yes, 0=no.
$usersignup=0;

Change to 1 to allow signups.

Request for new features

thank you for your reply.....however belated :wink: This feature was added after the original post was made, the issue I am interested in is checking for the "excessive" creation of new accounts.... for example as a denial of service attempt..... possibly by requiring mail confirmation.
