kPlaylist with flash player support

Announcements and description of general changes in kPlaylist

Postby bebopblues » Mon Dec 24, 2007 10:21 am

one more problem, I can't get the xspf player to play songs from a playlist, it xspf plays fine when I select songs and albums from the directories. It just loads a blank page when trying to play a playlist.

Any ideas? Please help.

Edit: I found out it works in IE, but not firefox, which is weird since it only happens with playlists. Anyone know why Firefox is not playing the playlist with xspf?

Did you also have this problem with the original xspf player. It could be some problem in the player or in kplaylist itself. I don't have the knowledge to solve it, but maybe you can try to post this in the main forum instead of this announcement topic?

Hi,
I've tried the player from http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/ and also the xspf jukebox suggested in this thread. I have the same problem in both players.
It works as it is supposed to if I use m3u-streaming with some software, like winamp.

Is there anyway to offsite link xspf? I'd like to put it on a seperate webpage and change the playlist from kplaylist, but everytime you click play it will give you a new randomly generated url for the xml playlist in the flash embed code. Is there anyway to reference a specific playlist while calling the flash file?

Edit: Build 466
